Security in KFS is controlled at various levels.
User authentication is performed by a default implementation of CAS which can be modified by each institution. KIM is used to perform access control of individual documents, in addition to document level, security can be defined at attribute level and custom code in Presentation Controller and Document Authorizers. Please refer the KIM documentation for more details about KIM configuration. Read more about Document Authorizers and Attribute Security in respective sections.
